Joel Pellegrini is a French pedagogue musician and composer living between France and Morocco.
Born in Alençon, Normandy, he began music at a young age. When he was 18, he decided to move and improve in Paris. From then, thanks to his training and creative mind, his career as a talented musician has been an atypical one: he was lead to play and compose in various musical and artistic ways!
His sensitivity and artistic feelings naturally drew him closer to the cinema!
He has more than 300 compositions to his name to date, including several albums and movie soundtracks and show music: "Si important", "Histoire d'Alice", "Le retour du fils", "The Satanic Angels", "Hayat", "Cracheur de Pierre", "La Scomparsa", "BÔ", and recently the tale "Alcia et les Austréïtes"...

2012: during the 65th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, Joël Pellegrini climbs the famous "steps", armed with his official professional pass and 3 original soundtracks…
2011: he composes the soundtrack (mastered in the Ciné Citta studios, Italy) for Ahmed Boulane's « Le retour du Fils », which was scheduled as "favorite" during the Marrakech International Film Festival, 2011 edition.
2007: Joël Pellegrini composes several movie soundtracks and received the "Best Music Award" during the 9th edition of the Tanger Film Festival festival, set up by the Centre Cinématographique Marocain (Moroccan Cinema Center).
2003: he composes for ballets, dance performance and theatre. He was invited as "Young Creator" in the Élysée palace by Président Jaques Chirac, for his work on "le Bateau fantôme" with the French choreographer and dancer Nathalie Vallée.
1998: he creates "Cracheur de pierre", a son et lumière one man show for drums and percussion, co-produced by the DRAC of Basse Normandie and the Scène Nationale of Alençon-Flers.
1994: he creates the first drum school for children 4 to 10 years old and writes 2 tomes of the "méthode Pierrot" published by the renowned "Henry Lemoine Publishing".
